This amazing transformation by Zoubuild from 60s suburban brick to modern family home needed an outdoor design match.

Situated on a large corner block with two driveways, there was no clear main entrance. We created a stately pedestrian walk to the front door with a large-scale feature pot allowing guests to easily locate the entrance. The fresh white exterior now pops against the large green Heliconia plants, giving immediate scale to the extra wide street frontage.

The existing pool had a complete makeover, bringing in lush planting and elements like the hanging chair and sand area to laze under a fringed umbrella. The versatile entertaining deck accommodates an outdoor BBQ and dining and seating space.

The laidback luxury of crisp white against textural elements of timber and rattan makes for a timeless ‘holiday at home’ aesthetic.
